AND, looking at the time of my post #1025, apparently I posted it at 11.49, even though the edit time for my previous post (#1024) was 11.53 (I definitely posted #1025 AFTER I had edited #1024).
So, how can I have edited a post at 11.53 THEN post something 4 minutes before that? Looks like the clocks somewhere are wonky.

I created a post in the humor forum, yet it doesn't show when you click on the thread. It does show on the main page as a post--but if you click on that link, it goes to a totally different thread. If you go to my "post history" there's no record of the post.

I can't use the Post Reply, only the Fast Reply and can't start a new thread.
I get a blank page.
Also, what is with the underlined words now?
When you roll your cursor over them it pops up very annoying links, such as the one for college dating in Parenting.
Somethings wrong here ;)

My McAfee and AVG are on schedules to run alternate days, I don't know if I have any spyware installed or not. This just started a couple of days ago after I had problems with timing out on this site only. All other sites I go to are just fine.

I'm coming in through Crosswalk portal if that makes any difference.

The underlined words pop up links to "Play Sushi", which looks similar to "Bing".

Ok, I found the reason for the underlined words....my fault.
I downloaded a game the other day and unknowingly allowed that whatever you call it to install with it, so I uninstalled the game.
Now, I still don't know why I can't use the Post Reply and can only respond through the Fast Reply and can't start a new thread.

Sheesh, the toolbar that came with the game had to be uninstalled as well...now all my problems are solved.

I learned my lesson! LOL

Memaw, I just logged in on the Crosswalk portal and can still see no underlined words.

I'd better leave this for a mod or admin now.

(though you could try posting a question in the Computers folder in the meantime)

OK, now you will be losing me for a few weeks. The time outs are increasing in frequency and illogically kicking me off from signed in to guest status. It makes no difference what portal I use, what browser I use, what time of day I log in. I have a high speed connection and do not experience this problem on any other site that I frequent.

Isn't it time for Crosswalks 6.0? It's been almost 5 years on this platform.
