Ahaha! I told my mom to melt and candy bar and chop it up enough.

I have to say though. Co-ed showers are NOT the same. If I did it again I would ban all men from them and make it a law. It would be my most conservative action in my lifetime. Ha.

Now why's that?

Why melt the candy bar or why ban all men from showers? lol Trust me Mike, a wedding or baby shower is filled with 100% estrogen...a bunch of ladies playing silly games, a lot of giggling and girly stuff. What do you think about that?

But the men could crash the party and play manly games instead.

Dear Trishy. Due to circumstances beyond my control. I regretfully will not be able to attend your baby shower on August 29,2010. I have a football game to watch to work until 2 in the afternoon.
Best wishes

Now that would be a very interesting QOD! So tell me then, what kind of manly games would one play at a wedding AND baby shower?

I can just see it now...all the female stares.

I missed that smiley so much. lol

I hate baby showers.

A shower with poker and the tv would be perfect.

The an alternate reason is that babies sometimes hate showers is that soap gets into their eyes. But I am lousy at poker.
You can get a Nintendo®Wii™John Madden 2011™

Madden is easier on an XBox or PS3. The Wii is a pain for that game.

I don't think I know Sarah? But sorry she has lost her father, and pray the Lord will comfort her and her family.

About men at baby showers, I think it's great, and it's happening more often now! And after all, it's their baby, too!

Hope you can get over the allergies soon, Trishy, They can be so annoying. I just don't know how at this stage you can be twirling your long skirt!! Can't imagine you dancing around, LOL. Or are you just twirling it around your little finger? [;) How is baby doing?

You are welcome.

Finally did some twirling last night at service.

Hi Joy! Sarah's original handle is saraimay75 but her new one is ForgivenGrace. Baby is doing great! He's twirling along right with me. lol

Peaceful Sabbath everyone! I'm just so glad it's the Sabbath. And as I look at my feet, it's starting to really be noticeably fat. Either that or my toes are shrinking. Ha.

Ah, I recognize saraimay75! Must remember the new name. I see you're back to your original!

Great to know he's doing great! And it looks like, from your comment, that he and you (and of course, daddy too) have a great future in front of you!!!!!

Thanks Joy!

It's been quiet here. Thank you for breaking the silence. Much appreciated.

It's too bad I had to get skin allergies while pregnant. When I sweat it's rather uncomfortable. But that's ok. Nothing a good cold shower can't fix.

Just looking around me right now and feeling so incredibly blessed. I love our little apartment.

Trishy, is there anything you can use to help relieve the skin allergies without doing harm to your baby?

Creams don't really do much. I like to carry around one of those tiny spray bottles with water in it and just mist it over my skin. The cool water eases the itch. I've gone to the dermatologist before and he gave me steroids and an antihistamine. But I can't take neither of that. So just gotta let it heal on its own.

How are you doing today ds?

Hiya Mike! I'm having a boy.

Gosh, I thought I posted here last night. lol

Hey everyone! What a weekend. Had my second baby shower yesterday. It was great! Then yesterday, it was our second anniversary so John and I had dinner at Tanaka of Tokyo. It was quite a weekend!

Now that the baby showers are over I can really start setting up the place for baby. So much to do. So little energy to do it. Ha. I will be happy on the last day of work, which will be the 17th. Whew!

So how's everyone doin? Are you fresh out of POG?
