That will come faster than you think.

Thanks Mike, I have used Google Chrome before too.

::

Bummer, I have to w---- today. Ah well. At least it's nice and cool in here.

Looks like there's a mini sidewalk sale here. Not much though since this particular shopping area has slowed down a bit.

I'm afraid not.

I recently found out I may be eligible for yet another extension of unemployment benefits. I sent in the paperwork about ten days ago, but I've yet to hear the results. It won't be a lot of money, but it's better than nothing.

Good morning everyone. Gosh, I am really tired this morning. If I didn't have to go to work I would probably be relaxing a lot today. Right now I am tired and hungry. lol

((ds)) I'm sorry you haven't a job yet. It must be really tough in your neck of the woods. Praying that you find something before money runs out. With all this government spending, including the health care bill, I can understand why businesses or employers in general are not hiring. It's such a slow recovery. I pray that G-d will bless you in whatever shape or form. You never know where your blessings will come from.

actually a lot of companies are sitting on piles of cash right now but aren't hiring or are just hiring entry level temps/contractors and internally promoting the other positions. So it just all depends.

I have a feeling though that some of them are just safeguarding themselves just in case something really major happens. Sort of like building a savings. Ironically, the health care bill doesn't take in full effect until 2012 and some doctors are already dropping Medicare/Medicaid.

Here in Hawaii it is quite common for people to have 2, sometimes 3 jobs just to keep up. Our economy and unemplyment rate is better overall than the mainland but people have to work really hard at it. John can't work more than one job for health reasons and his current job already can be physically demanding. So I feel blessed that we are able to make it so far. We are in prayer though cause when baby comes, expenses will surely rise!

If Dr's drop medicaid, etc. then that would be a case for keeping your present health care plan, that is if you have one.

One of the problems unfortunately is that one of the reasons premiums go up for private companies is because they need to make up for Medicaid/Medicare. Those who are not currently on M/M have to end up paying more into it. It's a viscious cycle. I think if we tried increasing competition it would work but unfortunately because of ObamaCare, increasing competition is less likely. Ugh.

lol. On a happier note, what is your favorite candy bar?

DH's insurance is so good that we wouldn't drop it....or the job...for anything. Hopefully the government won't invade on that plan.

The other day I saw a baby ruth crisp in the vending machine...and if I wasn't already sick from eating too much wedding (cup)cake, I would have tried it.

I stopped by one of the local malls recently, and a store has already opened selling Christmas decorations and supplies.

You know what Betty? I don't think I've ever had a Baby Ruth. My mom chose the candy bar for the guess the poop shower game. I can't say though cause there are spies here who are attending the shower.

Hi ds! I know, I think it's crazy. I don't even do Christmas the same way anymore so I could care less.

I'm off tomorrow . YAY! Clean, clean, clean.

Awe come on.

We are playing 5 games (hopefully)

- Guess the poop
- Guess the baby food (smell and look only)
- Baby Bingo
- Baby Trivia
- Tummy ribbon game

I think it's a nice combo.

So we went shopping today and I actually enjoyed it. Ha. Got me a pregnancy pillow! I can't wait to use it. My entire lower half of my body aches and this should relly help me sleep tonight. The pillow is really good for anyone who has back issues. Kinda pricey but I am sure soooo worth a better night's sleep!

The largest (and first) Bed, Bath and Beyond opened here. We looked. It's a good thing I got out of there before I did some damage. Ehehe. I do need a few things but just not right now.

Belated birthday dinner and pumpkin pie for John tonight. He's happy.

Ahaha! I told my mom to melt and candy bar and chop it up enough.

I have to say though. Co-ed showers are NOT the same. If I did it again I would ban all men from them and make it a law. It would be my most conservative action in my lifetime. Ha.
