Been in the mid to high 90's here - I mostly like it, besides for the black leather seats in my car making me sweat. Knowing this makes me know that I don't care for "upgraded" leather seats in future cars.

Supposed to maybe get some thunder storms this weekend. I hope it doesn't rain on my motorcycle trip. :/

Very rainy,It pretty much rained all day today and we had a couple of thunderstorms as well this week.This weekend Its supposed to be really warm though,including going up to nearly 100 tommorow.

I am in complete shock. There were a couple reports of TORNADOES in Nashville a couple of hours ago!!! I'm not even sure what happened there. It kinda scares me though, they say that tomorrow will be a repeat of today... I'm going to Nashville tomorrow...

The dog days are coming, and that means more hot weather, especially near Washington DC, where there is always an abundance of hot air. I believe SE Pa. will see temperatures at or above the century mark.

Ready for this. About the 15th, we will see a hurricane approach the East Coast. Probably make landfall in the Carolinas.

I'll soon be making my winter forecast.

AUGUST HEAT WAVE!! We're supposed to have the hottest weather we've had in 3 years!! I so love this weather. Hope it lasts through the county fair.

We're under an excessive heat warning. Yesterday our high reached 102F, even though the forecast high was 98F. Today our forecast high is 101F. I think it's pretty safe to say we'll exceed that. I mean, it ain't even noon and it's already 96F with a heat index of 110F.

Today we were in the 70s, in the afternoon!!! That's like unheard of until like late October. We had a severe thunderstorm and several rain showers throughout the afternoon. There has been a ton of damage reports in TN. One place even reported near 80 mph winds! The coolest thing I heard about today, though, was that after thunderstorms had passed through, dense fog was reported at a nearby lake. This is at around 2pm. I wish I could've seen it...


The next 2 days we're having temps of about 94F!! Talk about a cool down. Sunday we'll be returning to near 100 and staying there for awhile.

I predict this winter that my city will get 3 days of measurable snow and 7 days with flurries. So about average. Which reminds me, I have found out that from December 2005 to October 2009 my city has had 116 days with thunderstorms, but from 2006-2009 we've only had 16 days with snow. That's probably unimaginable to northerners.

Anyway, at the moment the heat is the big story here. We're getting a break from it for a little though, highs are only in the lower to mid 90s. But temps of over 100 are back in the forecast.

It was not to bad the last day or so. In the mid-80s with average amounts of humidity. Unfortunately it's supposed to get really hot tomorrow and stay that way for the week.

This morning in Fort Worth at 8:00 was a brisk 95°. The predicted high is 104° with a heat index of 108-110°.

Our heat indexes have been around 100-110ºF also. Glad that I've been in an air conditioned hospital through a good deal of it.

We had pretty good weather for opening night at the fair last night. It was in the 90s. Though at sunset there was what looked a thunderstorm developing. I got some really cool pics.

There also some lightning within the clouds, but it didn't rain. At least as far as I know.

It's been a rainy day in Baloney Town. Cooler, but still very humid.

I cannot wait till winter.
