Lioness, if I lived closer, I'd gladly snowblow your driveway for cookies. I love snowblowing!!!!! I don't think DH will let me do it this winter, though...something about being really pregnant...

Huh, ya think?

I'll bake you cookies anyway. Just because you'll be really pregnant.

YES!!!!!

You are a good good good woman, Lioness.

Last night in youth group we were getting started, and I told the youth pastor (in front of the kids---we had 9) that we needed to walk to the ice cream place around the corner, and that we could do our Bible study while en route. It turned into a lighthearted logistical debate, and eventually we packed into the church van for some ice cream!!! It was a good bonding time for the teens, and I was so proud of my persuasive abilities. The youth pastor knows me well enough to know I'm either going to be his strong voice of reason, or a really bad influence. Last night it was the latter! lol.

Yay for ice cream!

Larry is getting ready to install a new router, so I hope I can come back soon! The computer we have to use for the hookup is 11 years old. We hardly ever start it up, so it's taking a long time to load everything. We need a new desktop.

Thanks (I think)!

The cat never did get the fish. I don't remember if she even stuck her paw in the water.

We have a new router, and it is fast! Wow.

It is very nice! We kept getting those "can't find the page" errors. Drove Mike nuts, me not so much, but it was annoying.

Now he just has to figure out how to connect my computer using the wire instead of wireless.

Our computers at work can be slower than molasses in January and we get frequent errors. On the plus side, when the patrol officers bring new arrests in and are waiting for us to print off the reports they need to sign, they never complain because they have the same system in their cars and the get the same stupid error messages.

I love my computer at home though. I splurged on it, but I'm on the computer pretty much... oh... all the time, so I figured it was worth the investment.

Of course, one of these days, I need to figure out what button I occasionally hit that results in x-ing out of whatever I am working on. That of course usually results in me having to retype the entire post which gets very annoying....

Kath, we used to have a pretty big fish tank, and we used to have a almost totally white cat named Gabriel (a mis-named animal if ever there was one). There would quite often be a large "splash" as Gabe got a little too "involved" in trying to get the fish, lol. Then there would be much meowing and scrambling noises and more splashing as he tried to get out . The darn cat never did learn...

FB, if you love to snowblow - have I got a deal for you!! I'll even be willing to wait a year to discuss it with you . DS2 is still here this year, so I can wait.

He was all white except for a small black or charcole smudge on his head, right between his ears... very indicitive of his real personality!

I just had to stop in and tell you how "ironic" my life is. I have spent days with a sump-pump that is not working, water backing up and in danger of flooding the basement.

A plumber came today and gave me a $5.00 fix that had my pump working and spewing water out like crazy - running into the dirt of the road construction still going on.

I just went to the sink and turned on the fawcett... I have no water.

Go figure.

It seems that the slowest computers are at high tech stores, like Best Buy.

I'm not pregnant and I don't want to help clear your driveway but I would still like some cookies anyway.

Larry has pieces of Dan's old computer to make us a new one, supposedly it will be faster. But we really don't need to use it except to run the router. I don't know if having a faster one would make much difference for that.

You won't do anyone a favor, yet you want cookies.

Cookies are not rewards--they are a necessity of life!

Yay, I have water.... but I DON'T have cookies . I suppose I could bake some. But then I'd have to eat all of them. Probably not a good idea, I'd better stick with Lioness's virtual cookies.

Good Morning Den. Can you all believe it's already Labor Day weekend? Sheesh, the summer went fast.

Anyone doing anything exciting for the long weekend?

I'm glad you have water, Gma. Is the sump pump still working right?
