My 15th reunion is coming or has passed. When I heard this I thought: Really it has been 15 years?!?!

I missed my 15-year high school reunion, but my 35-year reunion is coming up in a couple of years.

Guess he showed you, Phosy...

Ha, what's the guy thinking? Or maybe better not to know or question that one...

That's probably just as well.

Any particular reason you just want to say that Kath? Inquiring minds want to know...

I just want to ask... how can I start the BBQ grill to cook my hamburgers with this rain pouring down????

I kinda thought that might be it... I stalked you (good thing you aren't God since I did that!). And I agree - good for Fritz! You guys do a wonderful job and usually do it very nicely.

Now, could you do something about my rain problem?

True.

But, but, the rain... did you make that stop? If so, I'm grateful, lol. I did get to make my burgers on the grill.

A few weeks ago I was reading through recipes (one of my favorite passtimes) and was looking at a meatloaf recipe - it has 1/4 C ketchup, 2 T of steak sauce, onion, ground pork and burger and crushed ritz crackers - I decided to make it into hamburgers. All I can say is YUM! Best burgers I've ever made, and will be the ones I make from now on.

You mods do a wonderful job! No one is perfect of course, but I shudder to think what these forums would be like without you all. It seems like it's human nature to think everyone ELSE has to abide by the rules but not us. You help keep us acting like we SHOULD even though we often don't. That's a good thing!

Well, obviously we can't cancel the party. I love the idea tooooo much to cancel. And I've never had an I Really Hate Her Potluck Party and Drive-by Fruiting before.

I really think the party must go on!

Remember Mrs. K's advice that: The best revenge is living well.

Although if you want to drive by their house once a year and shoot the porch light out, that is OK too.

Ouch! I'm still swollen from a tooth extraction, and that made * me * laugh too hard! LOL!

Edited because when I came back to the Den there was a glaring typo. I left out a word again. Somebody tell me it is endearing quality, please.

That's an extremely endearing quality.

I didn't notice a missing word...I think most of us read what's meant and not what's typed.

Never mind about that link. Thread is gone for now.

I haven't seen Elastic for quite a while. I know she talked about going on vacation, but that seems quite a while back.

I agree it is very endearing. I do it myself.

But before it disappeared I found out that Fritz likes Marmite. I was first introduced to marmite on this forum but it was several years before I found any. Now I like Marmite too!

"The British version of the product is a sticky, dark brown paste with a distinctive, powerful flavour, which is extremely salty and savoury with umami qualities, somewhat comparable to soy sauce."

And wash it down with a bottle of Moxie
