It'll be kinda hard for him (?) to make himself at home then, won't it?

Good day in the den!

The den, where all mortal flesh of an unusual nature abides

Yesterday, my pastor spoke about finances and faith. He had an interesting take on our "storing up", called it a 401E plan; E = Eternity. He slipped when he said, "Where neither rust nor Roth . . . . "

I should have mentioned to him that his freudian financial advise was very biblical, as a Roth is an after-tax pension on which we don't pay Caesar his taxes until the pension is annuitized.

Ha! I like that, Kiltman!

Ginny, cool avatar!

Good Morning, Den! I guess it's going to be rainy here today but that's okay, we've had several days of very fine weather. MC spent the day with his dad yesterday so GC and I went to church then to lunch and, afterward, to Barnes & Noble! What fun.

Praying for Pam as I believe today is her lumpectomy.

Sanity is over-rated.

It's good to see you, R_H!

Madhouse was the flip-side of the 12" version of "Our House," which was by Madness by the way.

Ah, that's right.... Good thing the memory is the first to go.....

:)

Hi Den!

Thanks for reminding us, Lioness. I'm horrible at remembering.

Says you.

Okay...good news: Thing 1 does NOT have rheumatoid arthritis! *dances*

Bad news: My dad wants him tested for other things (including lupus), and said this in front of Thing 1. Normally this wouldn't be bad, but now, my first born hypocondriac child thinks he has all kinds of deadly ailments.

Soooo...pray I don't choke my father for putting thoughts in his head, that I can keep from choking Thing 1 for being whiny, and choke Thing 2 for grinning mischieviously every time he walks into a room. That child can put the fear of G-d in anyone.

Nothing wrong with choking under those circumstances, just make sure there are no witnesses.

Quick post - I'm back from surgery, doing fine except for a monster migraine. Don't know anything except "the surgery went well" (not to me, to my friend). Post-op appointment is next Tuesday. Assume I'll know more then.

Howzabout this... I pray for you to be relieved from the migraine you have and you pray for me to be relieved of the one that's settled in over here. Deal?

Glad it went well. To me, just leaving the hospital after any surgery is a victory.

Rest up and watch some NCAA Women's basketball tonight.

There is a thread where I would like to kick some sense into some people, if Euty will hold them down.
