Jae- that's great that he is getting his own personality. Anna is that way- when she is tired, she.is.done. and she will let you know

Grace learned to stand up today- she sort of accidently made it to a stand when we were outside and she didn't have anything to pull up on and then she did it a few times in the living room tonight- boy, when she learns something, she puts it right to use!

Craigslist, or a local mom2mom sale you might be able to find one used. And yes, the turn-a-round rate on those you would get yoru money back on it. We never used a co-sleeper, they just snuggled right in bed with us, both my boys did. But you gotta find what is right for your family.

My sweet Dylan is 5 months old today. It flying by so fast with him. I definetly got the baby bug, but praying for God's guidance on this issue as we were pretty sure that we were done having kids after Dylan= that went from 98% down to now 80%.

Is that both of you, or just you?

And, are you sure it's that you want another baby or could it just be a feeling of natural sadness at the thought of not doing this again?

We were done at two (I was done at one, but God gave me the strength to go for another), but even despite the overwhelming relief and the ultrafast recovery time, knowing I'd never have to do this again, I still felt a sense of sadness that I wouldn't.

LOL I dont know! I feel it more then DH does, he is satisfied with our two boys. I am keeping it prayer, knowing full heartedly that God is in control and He knows what is in store for my family.

Weeellll, remember also that even if you did want another, it would be wise to wait a bit anyway, considering your last delivery. Your body would need time to heal after a section anyway, but especially after a vertical incision.

Considering that I am only 5 months PPD, I am fully aware of not getting pregnant anytime soon. If, and that is a huge if, we decide to have another one, it probably wont happen until well into 2011.

That's good, I am glad that you already knew - just wanted to check. Because, believe it or not, some women who have C-sections don't realise it's best to wait a bit.

i am glad that you were concerned, however i am a little hurt that you thought that i'd be one of those women who wouldnt wait. maybe it is because we dont know one another very well. i would like to enjoy dylan for a long while before we have another, if we do.

Don't be hurt. And just so you know...if the Lord blesses you again sooner rather than later (afterall He does open & close the womb) you'll still be able to enjoy Dylan AND Matthew. I promise.

I didn't say that! Though I did wonder if you might intend to wait, but then possibly not be careful enough, if you know what I mean. Accidents do happen even to those who do try to take care! (Hope you won't be hurt at that too!)

Thanks Manda- just so you know I am on birth control so, hopefully, I wont get pregnant anytime soon at that . However, Father God knows what is going to happen in my life, so I get pregnant then it is meant to be. Besides the fact I am nursing on top of that, and havent had a period since Dec. 2008, I'd say that the likelyhood of it happening are 0 to none.

Ok, Im done with the subject. No hard feelings I hope, we can move on right?

New topic...

...when Derrek and I got to Maryland he was wearing 3 month clothes. Then he grew. A week and a half later, I had to go shopping since I didn't bring any 6 month clothes with me. He is growing fast!!!!!!!!!

I think Dylan was only in 3-6 month clothing for maybe a month and a half. He is now in 9 month clothing, and I had to go to a mom2mom sale yesterday and buy him clothes because everything I had from Matthew that is 6-9 months is mostly summer stuff (they are born in the same seasons). Dylan is just bigger then Matthew was at that age, he weights 16lbs+ to Matthew 13lbs+ at this age.

Sharon, I know what you mean about cold weather stuff. Beth is cruising into 3-6 month zone, the 3 month stuff still fits but I can tell it won't for long. But all the stuff in the stores is too lightweight, even if it has long sleeves/legs on it for late winter/early spring around here. I am strongly tempted to go drop a few bucks at the second hand kid's stuff store this week just in case. I think they'll be starting to get rid of winter stuff soon so I should be able to get it cheap enough so that it won't be a major loss if she doesn't wind up needing it. Back to Beth and sleeping - I've been looking for a cosleeper on Craig's list and haven't found one. But the baby stuff really goes quick so I think you ladies are right and if I do buy a new one I'll be able to sell it readily and at a decent price. Right now I'm trying to determine if she just doesn't want to be flat on her back or if it is missing being close/warm etc. Because if it is being on her back then a cosleeper really won't make a difference.

I'm laying in bed with Joshua snuggled up against me. Occasionally he'll stretch and toot. When does that stop being funny? lol My eldest is watching his favorite cartoon. It's seriously taken me over an hour to fully wake up and feel like I can function. This new born stuff is so worth it, but hard. Just a brief season, right? lol

Jadon will be TWO on Friday. I can't believe it. My heart beats with pride in both my boys. I'm just so lucky they are mine.

Its a beautiful season. :)

You know, Dylan is 5 months, and I still laugh over his stretches and toots. But my little one toots like a man, and its kinda hard not to laugh when my 3.5 yr old is laughing and saying," Dylan farted!"

So does my dear Jac! It's hilarious. He's got little strong man hands too...very different from our girls for sure :0)

baby toots are just too funny....

Our youngest son was very gassy (as in farting, not as in screaming, etc)....so much so that his name was F(his first name starts with F) the Flatulent......and he still gets teased about that, even though he is 7 and no longer toots that much.....

I can't wait for the weather to break and colds to go away. Hannah is running a fever again. This is her 4th cold since the start of the new year. Exhausting!

No joke! I had strep twice in three weeks. At least the second time I went to the doctor quickly, and the antibiotics seemed to kick in much faster then the first time when I was really miserable.

My kids have been hit hard this winter, too, but Praise God, they're doing ok right now.
