"Grace and Peace" by Jill Phillips, from her "Writing on the Wall" cd. Absolutely fabulous cd. And that reminds me, I never ordered her second one. Gotta fix that.

ETA: Best song I've heard today: "San Lorenzo", the live version from Travels by the Pat Metheny Group.

Good call on both of those albums.
My favorite on Travels has to be "Phase Dance". The lick that was so good Lyle had to throw it in during "In France They Kiss On Main Street" when he and Pat were in Joni Mitchell's band.

Best song I've heard today (so far) - Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs

Whoa, huge flashback there! James Dewar's vocals were unbelievable on this album. This was my intro to Trower.

Best today so far was Chris Tomlin's "How Great Is Our God" from one of the live Passion cd's. It's been played to death, but it's still an incredible song.

Tough choice today, or actually last night, between "Daydream" by Robin Trower from his "Robin Trower Live" cd or "Still Is My Soul" by Jill Phillips from her "Writing on the Wall" cd.

"Scent of a Woman,"
by Cheap Trick,
from the "Special One" CD.
That band still cooks after all these years.

Song: Wait for Me

By: Bob Seger

From: Face the Promise

Favourite Line:

"And I'll fight for the right to go over that hill, If it always means something to me, I will not be persuaded, I won't be still, I'll find a way to be free..."

It's good to see somebody who appreciates big band music.

Today it's The Eagles' "Desperado" from the "Hell Freezes Over" cd.

You obviously have good taste.

Today's best was Sun Goddess, the live version by Earth, Wind, & Fire from their Eternal Dream box set.
