Hey...isn't brain food supposed to be for those who have a brain? In that case, tuna sandwiches would be great for you...but for me?

That's a rather short post for stream-of-consciousness. Not much on your mind?

(sorry! I can't help myself sometimes...)

Phosy and Kerrlaw never behave themselves, why should the rest of us do so?

PS. I like your new home [thread].

That's a really good point, Mike!

Hey wait a minute! I resemble that remark!

It's actually qtman that you need to worry about behaving around.

I make sure that you get a fair trial, then Phosy makes sure you get a fine hanging.

We don't do hangings at my jail, but I'll make sure you always have a roll of TP for your commode...

I've been surprising people all over the place this week with the brevity of some of my posts.

I sitting here enjoying my second helping of Grilled chicken pasta, I was starving! I was so engrossed in conversation this morning that I talked right through breakfast; some conversations can make you forget you are supposed to be eating.

Better brevity than gravity. Although gravity keeps you down to earth. Then again, as Christians, we shouldn't be earth-bound. In fact, we're bound for heaven, which is a good destination. Or predestination, which I guess is better left debated in the Calvinism/Armenianism thread, even though I happen to know that Shar-Mar likes Calvin and Hobbs. But didn't Hobbs live a few centuries after Calvin? That's not exactly a brief time!

It's an open party, Ron...bring your friends! Not even an admission fee! I always love a crowd, so tell your friends to come on in, pull up a chair, and join the conversation. Just don't bring food that my mean old doctor won't allow me to have, okay?

Where's Humble Mike, though? Hope he'll show up soon.

It's raining here, but I guess we can't complain in light of the flooding in Minnesota and North Dakota! Those poor people! I'm sorry for them.

It's okay to have some serious conversations at my party, by the way. But also we need to play! Play fair? Probably not...but fair enough that Dude won't use his Moderator Hammer.

Hiya Mike. Thanks for coming. We need Boston chat in here, especially if winter insists on hanging on. We thought we'd be going in there Wednesday or Thursday...now I'm not so sure!

Hi Deb, I know that it rained today, but I did wear a lighter jacket than I have been. What do you look forward to doing when you go to Boston next?

I have a friend that went to Boston for St Patrick's Day and absolutely fell in love with the city.

Yes Terri? I have a love/hate relationship with the city, but then again I have lived here all my life.

It's getting warm here, but so far it's been wetter than usual. I guess I can deal with that, we've had three years of less than normal precipitation. It will be nice to have a year that's not too dry.

I got a book last October about Boston's literary landmarks. There are some places in Back Bay where famous authors lived, so I'd like to find some of them this summer.

We may go to Quincy tomorrow, if it's warm enough. Just to get our of the apartment. Now they're saying Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be cool and wet. Can't you keep the rain down there, Darcy? Really, you're generous to a fault!

Sue, how was the homeschool convention?

Glad you found us, Rach!

With April Fool's Day coming, I thought I'd share an April Fool's joke I pulled when I was a senior in college. My best friend walked into the Commons (where we hung out), and with a huge grin I announced that I'd been accepted to grad school at UC Berkley! Before I could say, "April Fool." she ran off and told half the student body!

Boy, was she mad when I finally said "April Fool!"
