Christi, you didn't miss me. I always have to check right before I go to bed in case anyone told me good night. Thank you and Santa for answering my question.

Gary, it was a great blessing talking with you too. I still can't believe we talked! This week has been so interesting but I feel really blessed.

You all have a good evening!

Good evening! I'm here late, but I'm here!

This is true with my hand up:

The Kerr family (Scotland) motto is "Late, But In Earnest"

(Apparently we showed up late to battles, but turned the tide when we got there.)
I can sure believe that last part . . . the tide always turns when you show up in the threads.

I've heard that a rising tide floats everybody's boat.

I am doing well. I planted tomatoes and peppers this evening, so spring is here, officially.

Good night Terri.

Pam I am in Zone 5 and mid May is the optimum time to plant them. I planted four of each plant, and each one a different variety. The peppers are the sweet type.

Ahh, Zone 5 got it-makes sense now. I'm kind of new to planting vegetables (always preferred my flower gardens) but is a Bananna Pepper referred to as a sweet pepper?

I also have two beds of onions. One that I planted in March and the second that came up from what I planted last year.

What veggies I don't grow myself, I can get at the local Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings.

Hi Pam!

If you want me to answer honestly, I just wrote a letter that completely drained me. I'm spent.

How are you?

LOL. I like onions, either fresh on a salad or a burger or stir fried with pasta.

Christi, was this letter about the topic you have in Relationships?

Hey there Christi! I hear ya friend on letters mentally draining ya...must be the intense focusing I reckon. I'm doing great. Been working on remodeling 2 rooms here. Believe it or not I've needed to do this ever since Katrina hit pretty hard and just haven't had the time.

Gary, yes, that's the one. Hopefully this will put an end to the whole thing.

Pam, I hope your insurance helped. The destruction of that hurricane was just beyond anything I can imagine. I know that what we see on TV is just scratching the surface.

Christi, Do what God leads you to do about that.

Pam, I think I just figured out what the MS in your handle means.

Well it was a nightmare here, the worst hurricane I'd ever experience. My family and I had concerts in Louisanna and when it took a turn toward MS we cancelled the remaining concerts and drove back home to be with my mother and take care of our animals. Our insurance company cancelled us (as many were) our MS insurance commissioner and Congressman Gene Taylor got All State to do mandatory re-instate policies for all of us. However, we are still waiting on final payments, still doing supplemental claim after final denials now. I just want my rooms done, so I took my economic stimulus check with some savings and my family and friends are helping with the stuff I can't d....which is truly a blessing to me, so thankful for them.

All I can say is Wow. All people who have lived thru something like that will never forget it.

I have never experienced anything like that so I cannot imagine what you went thru. Kansas has tornadoes and I have spent many a warning in a basement, but I have never been in a tornado.

It has been nice talking to you, but I have to get to bed. I am going on a trip tomorrow but I have some things to get done before I leave so I will say goodnight.

Pam, what the insurance companies did totally stinks.

I'm glad that you have people to help you...that really is a blessing!

I'm gonna call it a night. Goodnight all!
