I saw this on the news page of singingnews.com and I wanted to put it here.

Hendersonville, TN – Daywind Records is honored to announce that the Perrys have renewed their recording agreement with Daywind, continuing a relationship that began in 1997, as a joint effort to strive to make great music that reaches hearts and changes lives. Both the Perrys and Daywind have enjoyed tremendous success though this relationship and they look forward to the years ahead.

Ed Leonard, President of Daywind Records shares "We are thrilled that the Perrys have extended their relationship with the Daywind family of artists. After so many lives blessed and great music created together, we are honored to go into the future with one of Gospel music's greatest treasures."

Tracy Stuffle, along with all of the Perrys, is equally pleased to continue at Daywind Records. Tracy expressed, “We are excited that, after 12 years, Daywind is still our family. We look forward to continuing our relationship of recording quality projects. We are very excited about our future to come.”

I am so happy to hear that it went #1. I heard the Perry's perform this song back in May before the CD came out and thought it was incredible. It was a song that I knew would make a huge impact. I couldn't be happier for Joesph as co-writer!

I heard the Perry's on Sirius XM's Enlighten 34 SGM channel singing "I Wouldn't Take Nothing For My Journey Now" from their 2005 tribute album Remembering The Happy Goodmans. It was like I was actually listening to Goodmans' ... Libbi does the best close cover of Vestal Goodman I've ever heard. Kudos to Libbi and Tracy Stuffle, Nick Trammel and Joseph Habedank for a fitting tribute to the beloved Happy Goodmans.

That was actually Libbi, Tracy, Loren Harris, and Joseph Habedank. But the point is well taken and well deserved! We heard Libbi's song, "His Grace Will Lead Me Home", on our way home tonight; and boy, did it sound great!

They did do a nice job considering it was Favorite Album for 2006. By the way, tomorrow is Mrs. Libbi's birthday! Let's be sure to wish her a happy birthday!

Tracy Stuffle experienced cardiac arrest at his & Libbi's home on Wednesday, August 11. Upon examination, doctors confirmed that Tracy had 5 blockages and would need to undergo open heart surgery. In addition to this find, the doctors discovered that Tracy was a diabetic. After his 10 hour surgery on Friday, August 13, he continued to make a major recovery and went home, Tuesday, less than a week after he experienced the heart attack. Tracy is scheduled to be back with the group at the National Quartet Convention in September 2010. While he is recuperating and under Libbi's care, Joseph Habedank, Troy Peach, Katy Peach, Bryan Elliott, Greg Shockley, and Jared Stuffle continue to travel the roads spreading the Word in song.

Please pray for Tracy and his family!

Tracy had a heart attack but did not go into cardiac arrest. You can keep up with his progress after his by-pass surgery by visiting this site that the hospital set up and that Libbi updates frequently: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/tracystuffle/journal
