Do you really feel quite different now then about the prospect of another pregnancy? (if it's ok to ask)

But what I do know is that since the birth control issue has come up I have not really been at peace. I still have 2 rings left in the 3 month pack so I have some time to decide. DH is fine with it either way an is leaving it up to me since it is my body.

(((Reach))) I'd wait a week (as hard as that is). Who am I kidding??? I'd be testing every day because I'm a nut. But that is me. If you are patient, which I'm not, you could wait a week. And yes, the $ store tests work fine. Although, they normally are not going to work as well for the earlier tests.

They seem to be more sensitive then some of the brand names, depending on which one you buy. Personally, I would probably be testing every day but I totally lack patience.

Does anyone remember how many tests I used when I was pregnant with Rhys? When I KNEW I was pregnant with Rhys? I had a problem. I think I must've used up 12 tests. I'm still finding them..... Ew. I know. So yeah, I'd be testing. Plus it's just fun to do it.

I think God is messing with me... We wer ttc last year, but then we put it off because I did not get a job, and I don't want a Sept or Christmas baby. So we are going to start ttc again in April and then whatever happens regarding the job. Well last month I was totally early and the new due date with my last period on Dec was like Oct 2nd and my b-day, my husband and my brother have the same b-day on Sept 27th. I don't think he is funny. LOL! So if I am, then it is OK, but not part of the plan, but then I get to have a baby in the year of the Tiger... (Which is good according to my co-workers!) I will need to get more tests, I took the last one last night. I have my lunch, so I guess I can run to the $ store and get some. I don't have patience either. Lots of times when I am late I test in the morning and evening. Hey they are only $1. If I had to pay full price then I would be more patient. The weird thing is I have zero symptoms. Normally I would be like this or that is sensitive, but I was thinking this was going to be a good period month because I have kept up my exercising all month. OK, still negative, so I won't worry anymore until tomorrow.

Seems like that's how it goes. It's like our immune system is compromised in the pms stage and we get sick. Yuk.

I know this is random, but whenever a teacher at our school finds out she is pregnant, it is tradition to put donuts in the teacher's lounge. EVERY time this happens, someone asks me if it's me! I am 41 years old!!! I finally started assuring them that if I was pregnant they would know because I would be in the psych ward! Lately, though, I have had some baby dreams. But as my H says, the tube factory is closed, so I feel pretty secure that all is well.

Ugh. I totally lost track of when my last period was. It think I'm due the end of this upcoming week, but I'm not absolutely sure. Next time, I'm putting it in my palm. I know Greg is busy, but I sure wish he'd bit the bullet and go make that appointment for the big V. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with Beth.

LOL....wanna make sure things are taken care of in case the baby bug hits again? I can appreciate that. We ended up with a great sleeper. So, of course I'm like, bring on the babies. I just don't want to bring on the pregnancy! It hoovers when you can't remember when your last period was. Makes waiting for Anut Flo to go that much slower.

You know I've calmed down on the whole v thing. Much to Andrew's joy. I'm ok with charting and barrier methods for a while. I was so staunch on him getting one and now, I just don't like the idea of either of us getting cut into. I still know we are done, that's for sure.

It seems like you are pretty at peace with that, as is your husband. And, the two of you being on the same page and being at peace with the decision is the most important thing, right?

Yes, it is. It isn't worth bitterness or a wedge between us in our marriage. This is a good place to be. Now if he wants to get one later, that's fine, but I'm not pushing the matter.

I'd never want to force my husband into getting a V if he really didn't want it, but there are non-surgical vasectomies. Sharon, no, I'm not worried about the baby bug, just accidental pregnancies.

I don't know about 45, but I had one at almost 35 and my pregnancy was very rough, and it has taken my body a very long time to recover!

Ugh. Beth is 13 months old, and Nathan was the same age when I found out I was pregnant with Beth. I'm really hoping my period comes soon. I did pee on a stick today, and it was negative, but then, Beth gave me a lot of false negatives, too. I'm just being silly. We used condoms and spermicide, so I'm pretty sure I'm in the clear. Just need for everything to start.

Sideways....any updates? Looks like we had another successful month! Aunt Flo came right as the nuva-ring was removed. Clockwork. And, this month there was no break through bleeding or hormonal crazies. So, I'll stick with it until Ray is off to Iraq.
