Wow! You are keeping busy! Some of those things I'd like to do too, if I were able.

ROFLOL about the spaced visits and shut ins. I did think of the spaced out shut ins. LOL!

Your house has been on the market for forever! I hope this new realtor can move it off your hands.

Hi, Mike, Trish, April, and Maggie!!
Doing fine, just don't seem to get on CW so much. But when I get here I do so much enjoy seeing you all!
Yes, our house has been on the market since April last year, but now it is in escrow! Well, it was last month but that one fell through and already it's in escrow again.
Leonard wrote another poem a few months ago. We have taken one of his poems and made it into a tract. We have had it proof-read. Now we need to decide how to publish it.

Good to have you here, even if only for a little while.

Maggie might be able to give you ideas on how to publish it.

Sounds like interesting things going on for you.

Hi, Trish & April!

Yes, things are getting interesting, Trish. I'm not sure that publishing a tract is the same as a book but you're right, Maggie may have some ideas. We also found a tract organization that will look at new tracts to consider them, but they are limited in how many they can take. I'm sure we can get a tract to you, April, once it finally rolls of the press!

Yesterday we went to a different local church. We used to go there 22 years ago--for a few months. It was nice to see a few of the people we knew then still going there and we have seen them around town over the years, as well as all the other who had joined them over the years.

This morning we did some cleaning out of our garage. We had a beautiful day today--the first time in months that it has been below 80, when a few days ago we were at 105. There had been some rain in the night, the first since around last April. No, not you, April. It felt so cool this morning, we opened the windows and doors all day (usually too hot to do that). It's going to get hot again by the weekend so this was a nice break.

Publishing a tract is easy because you don't need a publisher, just a printing company with a graphic artist (UPS Store, for instance). If, say, your tract is on an ordinary-sized 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper and you want it folded in thirds, the graphic artist can design it so it flows smoothly. For that matter, if either of you have any sense of design and feel comfortable doing it yourself, you can. The printer will print and fold them for you. They will have a variety of paper and can answer your questions. If you want your tract smaller, they can cut the paper to size.

I'd love to have a copy too.

What's escrow?

I was wondering about escrow too.

Any news about the guy who was doing the study over the phone with Leonard?

Thanks for the input on tracts, Maggie! We thought about going to a printer, but we have to have the graphics and we're not good at that!!!

Escrow: Your house "goes into escrow" when you have a buyer for the house and are going through the paperwork towards completion of the sale. What do you call it in Canada and Australia?

Leonard hasn't been in contact the guy again...yet. Thanks for remembering.

Hi Joy!

Escrow is a holding account at the bank before a sale goes through.

I don't think we have that. I have noticed that house sales seem to operate very differently in the US than in Canada. Maybe that's one of the differences.

Hi, Mike, Maggie, and Trish, and anyone else visiting. Since I'm back on line and in CW again, thought I might as well bring this up to date.

We have moved north and like it. All that transpired to make it possible...well, it's simply amazing. It would almost take a book.

Now Mike's in a new job, Maggie is stranded for now (praying for you), and Trish is planting. Things can change pretty quickly. I'm thankful God is always the same and know you are, too.

Planting is over for now. Carrots were used ages ago. The tomatoes ended a few weeks ago. We still have some silverbeet, (like spinach), and we'll take some to the neighbours. They like it and we'll never eat it all by ourselves. Later on in the year, we're going to plant some more things, but for now, not much is happening in the garden.

I love spinach and haven't ever heard of silverbeet, but since it's like spinach, it must be good!

Well, Maggie is back home now. Isn't that great!

We went to our grandson's birthday parties for the first time ever. He was six on Thursday and had a party at home with the family, and another in the park today for family and friends. It's so cool to live near family now! A few days ago, I was talking to our daughter on the phone. After we'd hung up the phone rang and it was Blake (3), her youngest, "Can I come over to your house and play?" Well you can guess we made time later and then Connor wanted to come as well, so they both came. We only have a little place and they were so full of life, but it was so much fun!

Aww, that's so good that you can spend more time with family. And birthdays and Christmases as well now! You'll be able to babysit now if you want to as well. I'm sure their parents will appreciate that.

Thanks, Trish, Yes, it's great.

Friday, the granddaughters (11 and 9) stayed the night. We had breakfast for dinner (their request). Homemade waffles, bacon, eggs, strawberries, cream. Saturday morning they had ramen with a little cheese sprinkled on it for breakfast!

We went to a birthday party Sat. afternoon. The girls came with us and then went home with their parents and brothers after the party. It was in a backyard, parents and grandparents safely on the patio while the children on the grass had a shaving cream fight and got washed off with a showerhead on a hose! Then some kind of machine hanging above spun around making soap bubbles for the kids to play under. They also had a bounce house and a portable swim pool. Well, I couldn't resist getting some of the shower water on me, it was so hot (near 100 degrees and we're not even in California any more ) and the water felt soooo good.
