April, I read that eating apples improves your memory! Can you remember to eat them sometimes?

I will remember that. If you will remind me once in a while.

You're right about not posting so much, April. I used to be on CW a lot, but now I don't get here nearly so often.

Why? Are you a two fisted apple eater?

Have you been watching the Olympics?

Just pieces of it.

When I do watch it, someone also says, "GET BUSY, you fat old wrinkled person! Didn't ya used to look like those beautiful people? What happened to ya?"

Trish, is she in Texas now?
Could you please tell her to turn on her computer?

If we don't hear soon, are you up for hiring a detective?

Hi, Trish, April, Mike, Maggie,

Thanks for keeping my thread alive! Wow, the last time I posted was during the Olympics. I enjoyed reading your posts since then.

April, eat an apple! What? Don't tell me you've forgotten what that's about. Go to the top of the page and don't collect 200 dollars.

Yup, I am a two-fisted apple eater, because I have two fists and I eat apples.

I guess I was OK that holiday weekend. I don't remember what I did. Uh, oh...reaches for apples....

We haven't moved to TX yet. Our house hasn't sold. We couldn't pay rent there and mortgage here, so are waiting for the sale. A fine time to be selling a house, isn't it! We can't make any concrete plans but we know we're in God's hands, the best place of all!

April, eat an apple!

We had a great time in Texas for a little over two weeks. Went there with the Red Cross. We were assigned to the "Hurricane HQ" which wasn't near the places affected by the hurricanes in the southern part. Everyone who was going to an assignment down south came through this HQ first and then reported back after completing their assigments. Wow! We got to meet so many people. We had 10-hr. shifts, on our feet all day, except for time to eat lunch and a few little breaks here and there. As a result, I can now get into some clothes that didn't fit, and can tighten my belt a notch or two! No kidding!

Thanks for the welcome back to H&G. I do get there from time to time. What do I mean by "LAST POST..." in the subject? I have sympathized with those who have previously closed their threads. Now I more fully understand. I have decided to let this thread ride, at least for a while. I will try to check in on your threads (for April this means Trolls, right?) to keep up with your news. Love you all!

April, eat an apple!

Hi Joy, thanks for popping in! I hope that your house sells, and for a reasonable price real soon!

Great to see you both!

My frig is keeping my apples cool and crispy!

Yeah I know, I know, eat one every day, right?
But if I eat them I will just have to buy some more.

Except for hot flashes...

THEN I eat an apple!

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Also apparently improves memory.

Hi everybody.

Wow, I did a turnaround and wondered how my post got on the back pages! LOL!

Thanks for bringing up the thread, Trish! It's nice to be among my friends again.

We've just listed our house with another realtor who seems gung-ho to get things going. We volunteer at the rescue mission warehouse , take the women's service at the rescue mission once or twice a month, vol. at the food pantry, dh goes once a week to radio station and I go once a month, we visit a few shut-ins but space them out (the visits not the shut-ins!!!), write bunches of letters, visit churches. We are investigating new of outreach.
