We're in the same boat. And the forecast, at least for us, is not that bad at all! Hillsborough County called off school, at least in part, because so many schools are used for shelters. My kids are in a private school that just follows the county's schedule (easier to get the word out when we can also just say "watch the news and do what the public schools do" to avoid confusion). But if they choose to stay closed Wednesday just because they're being used as shelters, I really hope they go ahead and have school for us. We'll see.
Cool, are you expecting to get much bad weather where you are? The forecast has improved considerably for us here since what looked possible this morning. I've already pulled in most of the stuff off the patio. I'm not doing anything else. If dh wants to bring in the patio tables (too heavy for me to do alone earlier), we can when he gets home. Not even sure we need to do that, though.
